Knauf started out by producing plasterboard in Germany in the 1930s, and now the business has developed into an international corporation with 220 production bases in more than 70 countries. We offer a broad and complete range of products to our customers to meet their diverse needs today and in the future. Knauf has more than 26,500 employees around the world and has annual revenues of EUR 6 billion. Though we are a large modern corporation with a leading position in the industry, we are basically still a family business with family values. This makes our thinking more far-reaching and allows us to take action faster.

The center of global economics is currently shifting toward the Asian region. In the vital emerging market of Asia, Knauf has already established production bases in China, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia and provides services such as system sales, technical support, and onsite construction guidance. Knauf strives to meet the ever-growing demand for advanced innovative building solutions for the continuous investment and flourishing development of the Asia Pacific region. In addition to global product and system sales, we will also constantly expand and increase our R&D strength in the Asia region to be able to custom-design solutions for Asian customers. We look with pride at the strong sales and technical service network that Knauf has established in the Asia region, which allows us to always be prepared and to closely meet needs. We will also continue to invest in improving the capabilities of our employees so that they can provide even better service to our customers.
